Dubai, ranked third globally with over 400 LEED-certified projects, is promoting sustainability in its real estate sector to align with the 2040 Urban Masterplan and UAE Net Zero 2050 mandates. According to a report by the Khaleej Times, it emphasizes energy-efficient buildings, sustainable design, and construction methods. The UAE extends the Year of Sustainability to 2024, encouraging residential projects to use natural light, insulation, smart technology, and renewable energy sources.
